Hey Family!

This past week was great! The people are so nice here! I had my first baptism! I baptized Elvis Cevallos! He is 17 and is so awesome! I went to the temple this past week!! Everything was in Spanish, but I used the translating headphones for English! I love you all so much!! Everyday I read the Libro de Mormon for 30 minutes and then I study Predicad me Evangelio for another 30 minutes. After that Elder Golpe and I practice teaching the lessons to our mirror. I will try to attach more photos to the drive because we really got to teach in some cool houses!!

I love you all!!! I really do!!

Week 2 in Ecuador!

Hey everyone! This past week was great! I can understand and speak the language so much better! It is still so very bad but it is better! This week I had my first baptism! I had the honor of baptizing Elvis Cevallos! It was so incredible! Elder Golpe and I have found 3 new families that we are teaching! It was a good week!

On Tuesday half of the missionaries in the mission got together for a mission conference! We took a bus to Guayaquil, went to the temple, and then had a 6 hour long conference. Even though it was really long it was great! We got a lot of good training! My favorite thing that I heard at the conference was a quote from Elder Jeffery R. Holland.  ¨Missionary work has never been easy, and at times we might wonder why it is so hard. Now this in only my opinion, not doctrine. But it is not easy because salvation does not come easy. Here is what I do know. You are going to suffer heart break and frustration during the mission. But know that Jesus Christ has suffered more than you can ever imagine, and he will give help if you truly believe he can and you ask Him.¨

I know that if we ask for during our hardest times we can receive the help we ask for if we believe that our Loving Heavenly Father and his son Jesus Christ can help us.

I love you all! Thank you for all of the support!  -Elder Pincock
