First Real Week!

Hey family! My first week here has been great! I have taught around 15 lessons in people homes and have contacted 20 people on the streets! the weather here is amazing! It is always warm! The people are so nice here! We eat every lunch with members and the feed us so much! We have eaten so much fish this past week. In this area, Manta, that is all the people eat! Fish and rice. And they feed us so much! The people here are so nice! All they do is give all they can to their guests. Their houses range from the size of our living room to the size of our entire first floor of our house. Their roofs are just sheets of tin, they have metal bars over thier windows for protection, and their floors are either wood or broken concrete put together like puzzles. There are taxis every where! We take taxis a lot because the people we go and teach live so far away from our appartment. Our apartment is about the size of our living room and Elder Golpe and I have it to ourselves! Water is not really in short suppy here. There is only a little stream of water that comes out of the shower though. The water we drink comes in huge jugs, like in offices, and we just fill our waterbottles up with that eveytime we leave in the morning. The language is killing me right now. I can barely talk to Elder Golpe and during lessons I do my best to understand and share the gospel but my Spanish is so borken. But it is alright! I love you guys! Tanner, I hope the car doesn´t keep breaking for you! Brenna, thank you for the book of missionary reminders! They have been helping. Mom and Dad, I love you so much! thank you for your letters!

Love you lots! -Elder Pincock
