Week 3!
First off thank you Brenna for writing such detailed emails that my emails are not good enough for mom...IM JUST KIDDING! That's fun that you guys have pumpkins picked out! Tanner your braces look stunning! Brenna I am glad your back is getting better! Dad and Mom, thank you for everything that you sent in the package! Everything was just what I needed! I don't have Grandpa's email address, so Dad could you please let him know that I loved that package that he and Grandma sent me too please?!? So the food is amazing, people who don't think so must only eat at McDonalds or something because it's great! I have two teachers right now! Hermana Richards and Hermano Cahoon. They both attend BYU and are incredible! I have learned so much from them! So the other members in my district are just a party! I will upload photos into the Google Drive Folder! We have such a good time together! The MTC time is just flying by! I can't believe that tomorrow will be the start of my fourth week that I entered the MTC! I hope school is going great for you Tanner and Brenna! And I hope work is just a bucket full of sunshine for you Mom and Dad! I love you guys! If you need more details on anything just let me know 😉 I love you guys!
Week 4 Technically but Really Week 3
Quick note on the 'subject' name, I reported to the MTC on Wednesday October 5th. So my number of weeks from being in the MTC are 3 (almost 4), even though it is the 4th week in the month....time is awesome!
This past week has been such an incredible week! My companion and I were able to teach a real investigator! Granted, the 'investigators' that the missionaries teach here are most likely members of this Church already.... But there is a 1 in 3 chance of having a real investigator! We have had 3 lessons with our 'investigator' and it has been such an incredible experience! Through the simple lessons and broken Spanish, our message always seems to come out in a way that makes sense. I also received a calling in my Spanish Branch! On Sunday, that 16, my companion and I were asked to be the priesthood coordinators, which means we just assigned all of the Elders in our branch the room that they would go to for the class! But on this last Sunday we got released from that calling and called to be the new Zone Leaders! It's almost the hump day of my MTC experience and I have already had 2 callings, have taught 3 classes, given a talk to the entire Spanish Branch, and taught with a possible investigator!
Time has been flying here! The days feel like a week, and the weeks feel like a day. Thank you for always supporting me in this everyone! I love you all!

Week 2 in the MTC
So not to just say what I said last week, BUT I LOVE THIS
PLACE! This past week has been so incredible! I have seen a few of my friends
on their missions too! I have seen Elder Taylor Murdoch, Elder Zach Davis,
Elder Bridger Walker, and Hermana Deacon! It was so incredible seeing some of
my friends in the MTC!
ALSO!
I had the opportunity so give a talk in Spanish to my MTC Branch! It was only a short 4-minute talk but the Spanish part was stressing me out! But what made me even more nervous was when I looked in the back of the chapel and I saw the director of the High school I attended, Matthew Bertasso, sitting with his family! So there was a lot of stress on my little 4-minute talk!
I have had such a good time in the MTC. My companion and I had the opportunity to watch a video by Elder Holland on Sunday and what he said just got burnt into my head! He said, "The adversary can not take a life, he can't do that. However, he can do something almost as bad. Bind your tongue." From that I learned that when ever we feel like we need to say something good to anyone and we don't, it is us allowing the adversary to stop us from being a positive influence in someone’s life.
Thank you all for supporting me! I love you all!

Family!
Hi mom! Hi Dad! Hi Brenna! Hi Tanner! I am alive! Thank you for all of the letters you guys write me! I by far have the most Dear Elders of anyone in my district! I love the MTC life so much! I have the best companion who is going to the same mission as me! Thanks for the cupcakes! I loved seeing the box because it reminded me so much of home! I did share two of them, but only two!
AND GUESS WHAT! I gave a talk, to all of the other people in the building we are learning the language in, in SPANISH!! I got called on to give the talk and it was so awesome! Everyone said for being here less than two weeks the Spanish was pretty good! I mean, they might have just been saying that but it was still nice! And I got to see BertMatt! He was in the MTC when I gave the talk!
I love you guys so much and I miss you a lot! Thanks for your love!
