Week 12 in Ecuador

Hello everyone! This past week was legit! We had a world wide training broadcast for missionaries with the missionary council in Utah and it was awesome! They have changed our schedule slightly so we have more time in the day to work!

And then Sunday we had our Stake Conference. Our Presidente de mission  y la esposa de El nos Hablaron and it was incredible. We also had Elder Nelson Ardila, a member for the 70, speak to us! The conference was focused on the importance of member missionary work and learning the gospel in the home with the entire family. Our president de mission really focused on the member missionary work, because we never know when someone might just need to hear our simple testimonies about the truth to hel them through their hard times.

Last week I received an email from one of my friends still in High school asking, ¨What can I do to survive my Jr. Year?¨ When my friend asked me that I was thinking about what things really made a difference during school. And as I was thinking, it was made pretty clear that it was my desire to learn more through constant study in my classes and constant study in the scriptures. Those two things together made ALL the difference in the success in my classes and my mental health. So during high school, and every other aspect of life, when things get hard and you feel like you just can’t seem to catch your breath because of the stress, use what breath you have to work harder in your school work (or what every work you have) and studies of the scriptures. I have seen the blessings of that method in my time in high school and in my mission. I say it every week but I always mean it. thank you for the support you all give me. I can not believe how fast the time is going! I love you all and hope for nothing but the best for you all!
